Altumven®

Altumven® is intended for use in adults over 18 years of age:

 

• for the treatment of acute deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE);

 

• to prevent blood clotting during hemodialysis or hemofiltration in patients with acute or chronic kidney failure;

 

• to reduce the risk of blood clots after surgical procedures;

 

• to prevent thromboembolic complications in patients with acute medical conditions and limited mobility (including those requiring bed rest);

 

• in cases of unstable angina or non–ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI);

 

• for long-term treatment (up to 6 months) in patients with cancer to help prevent recurrence of venous thromboembolism (VTE).
