Solopharm continues to develop its export potential despite the unstable international geopolitical environment.
A new country has appeared on the export map again. This time it is the Kingdom of Morocco - an amazing state, impressing with the beauty of deserts and the splendor of city parks, where the colors of oriental bazaars and medieval medinas of Fes are followed by the Atlantic Ocean waves washing the cosmopolitan Casablanca.
Today, in Morocco, «Gylan» moisturizing eye drops are registered and supplied. It should be noted that Morocco is one of the countries with strict regulatory requirements in the field of market authorization and circulation of medicines and medical devices. Only products that comply with strict European standards in the field of production and quality management can be registered in the country. Obtaining a market authorization in this region has become one more confirmation of Solopharm ability to maintain high quality of products even in the face of constant geopolitical challenges.
It would be appropriate to add that this month Solopharm passed the next annual quality audit in the field of development, production, and distribution of medical devices in accordance with ISO 13485: 2016. The certification center was «AQC Middle EAST», the international registration agency, UAE.
An important step in the process of «Gylan» entry into the Moroccan market was the participation of our local partners in the largest annual congress of ophthalmologists held in Casablanca. More than 200 doctors from all over the country attended this event. Most of them gave extremely positive feedback upon the «Gylan» drops. Leading representatives of the Moroccan medical community noted the convenience of using unidoses - a well-known form in the country. Along with this, and due to the specifics of the hot and dry climate and the situation in the local ophthalmic market, «Gylan» is expected to be competitive with local and foreign brands and significantly expand the existing therapeutic line of ophthalmic products. «Gylan» will be available in the pharmacies throughout Morocco already this summer.
Not resting on the laurels, Solopharm continues to introduce products to the markets of near and far abroad countries. During the second half of 2023, a number of marketing authorization certificates are expected to be received in such countries of the Middle East as Kuwait and Qatar.
