Solopharm Participates in the 14th St. Petersburg International Health Forum

Solopharm participated in the 14th St. Petersburg International Health Forum (SPIHF), held this year under the theme «Health Preservation as a Path to Active Longevity.» The forum brought together representatives of government authorities, business, academia, and healthcare professionals to discuss key issues shaping the future of the healthcare sector.

The SPIHF 2026 business programme covers 13 key areas, including the prevention and treatment of socially significant diseases, reproductive health, the integration of artificial intelligence and digital technologies into healthcare, healthcare workforce development, regional healthcare systems, and improving health literacy among the general public.

This year, the forum's programme is structured around three thematic days. On 13 October, participants will focus on strategic cooperation between government and the healthcare industry, public policy, and the implementation of national healthcare projects. On 14 October, the professional programme will highlight the medical community, innovative technologies, and advanced clinical practices. On 15 October, discussions will centre on doctor–patient relationships, public health, and improving health literacy.

For Solopharm, participation in the St. Petersburg International Health Forum provides an opportunity to contribute to professional discussions about the future of healthcare and explore the role of the pharmaceutical industry in shaping a modern healthcare system.

Today, the development of the pharmaceutical industry goes beyond expanding manufacturing capacity and product portfolios. Key priorities increasingly include strengthening in-house scientific and technological capabilities, adopting new technologies, improving access to modern medicines, and enhancing the industry's technological independence.

Solopharm continues to develop its own manufacturing and R&D capabilities, expand its pharmaceutical portfolio, and explore new technological areas, including biotechnology.

Health preservation begins long before a person seeks medical care. It starts with prevention, access to high-quality treatment, health literacy, and the development of technologies that help people live longer, healthier, and more active lives. Bringing together the efforts of government, science, business, and the medical community is essential to making consistent progress towards this goal.

Solopharm's participation in SPIHF provides another valuable opportunity to exchange expertise with industry colleagues and contribute to the professional dialogue on what the healthcare system of the future should look like.
