Solopharm and the dietary supplement brand Elentra Nutrition® became partners of the first ecological run Plogging in 2026, organized by Running Heroes Russia. The event will take place on May 30 on the grounds of the «Gabo» sports and recreation complex with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resource Management of Moscow Region.
RHR Plogging is a special running format that combines jogging with waste collection and care for the environment. Running Heroes Russia has been holding such eco-friendly starts for seven years, bringing together thousands of people around the idea of mindful sport. Over this time, participants have helped make many parks in Moscow and Moscow Region cleaner, and the plogging format itself has inspired a great number of athletes, volunteers, and organizations across the country.
The word «plogging» itself emerged from the combination of the Swedish expression plocka upp («to pick up») and the English word jogging. The movement originated in Sweden in 2016 and became popular worldwide in just a few years, uniting people who want to combine physical activity with care for nature and the urban environment.
In 2026, RHR Plogging will become not just an environmental action but a true festival of sports, movement, and care for nature. Participants can look forward to artist performances, refreshments, gifts, and traditional medals made from recycled plastic, which will be awarded to all finishers.
Around 350 people will take part in the event.
Solopharm and Elentra Nutrition® have prepared gifts for plogging participants, supporting an initiative that brings together ecology, an active lifestyle, and a culture of mindful attitude toward the environment.
